Biography - Daryl Novak
Daryl Novak has 25 years’ senior management experience in a range of public sector and arts organizations with responsibility for human resources, finance, facilities, strategic planning, and government relations. He is currently Director of Operations of the Southern Ontario Library Service, and prior to that, Corporate Services Director of the Ontario Arts Council. He has served on numerous arts and social service boards and is a director of Cultural Careers Council of Ontario and the Niagara Historical Society. He has taught Human Resources management at Humber College for three years, and has lectured in the University of Toronto Museum Studies Program, for the Ontario Library Association and the Ontario Museums Association.
As a Registered Professional Recruiter, he has assisted over 25 library boards select new CEOs, and is available to assist libraries on a range of human resources and purchasing issues.
