ASSIGNMENT 3
For this assignment, you will locate all of the policies in your library/library system that relate to membership and borrowing registration.
If your library has developed policies related to procedures, please include them in the assignment. Are there any policies that you think should be changed? Are there any of these policies which are not being consistently applied in your library and/or library branch.
If you discover that your library does not have any policies related to membership, then you will have to write or adapt membership policies for your library. If your library is missing some of the policies which, according this module, seem to be missing, you will have to provide a copy of the ones you have, and write or adapt any of the policies that are missing.

Policies set general guidelines for the
administration of the library and protect the board and
staff. Keep in mind that once policies on these issues are
set by the library board, library staff can develop
procedures and make decisions within the realm of
established policies. |
