Your assignment for this module is to plan a storytime programme for a group of 3- to 5-year olds. Submit a programme proposal including:

1. Reasons for offering the programme.

2. Target audience.

3. Facilities to be used.

4. Length of the programme.

5. Number of participants that may be accommodated.

6. List of publicity methods and why you have selected these types.

7. Explain how the success of the programme will be measured.

With the programme proposal, submit a one page outline of a sample programme. You may wish to refer to the sample outline in Appendix O to get an idea. After completing the activity on page 14, you will have an idea of how long it will take you to read aloud one story, and can judge how many stories to include.

Your assignment will be at least 2 pages in length.
