ASSIGNMENT 4
As you know from earlier in the course, planning is a process of investigation, decision-making, implementation and evaluation. For the purposes of this assignment, let us assume that your library board is about to develop a detailed plan for the library. Before beginning however, you have been asked by the board to write down a few thoughts about the library’s collections and services.
Under the following five headings, describe your library. For the first heading, "Our library is.." you may wish to talk about the physical library, e.g. ...a great building in the centre of town, or you may wish to focus on the services or atmosphere, e.g. ...a friendly welcoming place in our community.
