Workshops and WebinarsFall 2008 Workshops and Webinars
Webinars are usually one hour in length and staff can participate
from any location by using a phone to listen to the presenter and using
a web browser to view the presentation. Webinars are ideal for
introducing staff to new electronic resources such as those available
through Knowledge Ontario and COOL. Generally webinars are free
but staff must register. Fees and paymentsSOLS invoices libraries, in June and December, for the workshops their staff attended, unless other arrangements are made. The fee for individual workshops is based upon the actual expenses for presenters, lunch, etc., with a minimum fee of $25 for a half day workshop, and $50 for a full day workshop. Workshops handoutsFor some of the workshops, we are able to provide material compiled by
the presenter, after the workshop has run. Please see the SOLS
Clearinghouse under
SOLS Workshop Support Material.
