Career Cruising
Career Cruising is a database made available to libraries through
Resource Ontario’s digital resources. Career Cruising is an online
career exploration and portfolio development system designed for people of
all ages. This one hour walk through of Career Cruising will
review the four main components of the program which include the careers
database with over 500 career profiles, the matchmaker interest based
assessment tool, the education database including information on
apprenticeships, and the portfolio component where patrons can save
information, build their own career and education plans, and build a
resume.
Webinars are “live” training sessions in which participants view the
presentation through their Web-browser and listen to the trainer via
telephone.
