Libraries and their Websites

• Building Your Library Website Step-by-Step by Chantelle Dooley of  dulydesigned.com - October 2008. This workshop answered the question of how to build a website by starting with the basics. Each participant  received a workbook – complete with a step-by-step plan, tips and reminders – to use as a guide throughout the development process, both during and after the workshop. From brainstorming and surveying users, to purchasing a domain name and designing and uploading web pages, this workshop gave participants the tools they will need to develop a library website.

• Website Makeover - Improving Function and Form - By Rob Kingston - May 2008  The purpose of this workshop was to help libraries whose websites seem to be frozen in time and need to be brought into the 21^st century. This full day session focused on the library’s website as a point of service.
