SOLS staff contribute to a Clearinghouse of information to provide the information libraries need in a number of subject areas. The Clearinghouse is the major, comprehensive source of information on a diverse range of library topics. It provides links to SOLS information, as well as external sources. Please browse the topical subject list in the Joint OLS-North/SOLS Clearinghouse for more information.
SOLS also maintains an Index to Public Libraries in Southern Ontario, providing contact, staff, and service information for these libraries. Southern Ontario libraries should contact to update their listing. The information on southern Ontario libraries is updated regularly, as soon as new information is received. These entries will be eventually be forwarded to OLS-N, who is responsible for updating the print Directory of Ontario Public Libraries. Information about Northern Ontario Libraries is available from the OLS-North website.
