INFO (Information Network for Ontario)
is a resource sharing network for Ontario public libraries
|
While libraries provide services that meet many community needs, they cannot meet all
of the informational, cultural and recreational needs of their citizens. Using
the INFO network, libraries can provide their patrons access to the information
resources of public libraries across the province and beyond. INFO incorporates
web-based interlibrary loan management software (VDX) with the catalogues of 174 public
libraries across the province. INFO users also access non public
library resources such as Amazon, Globe and Mail, Archives of Ontario,
Library and Archives Canada and public and non public libraries across Canada.
