is a resource sharing network for the public libraries of Ontario
What is the INFO Resource Sharing Network?
While libraries provide services that meet many community needs, they cannot meet all
of the informational, cultural and recreational needs of their citizens. Using
the INFO network, libraries can provide their patrons access to the information
resources of public libraries across the province and beyond. INFO incorporates
web-based interlibrary loan management software (VDX) with the catalogues of 191 public
libraries across the province. INFO users also access non public
library resources such as Globe and Mail, Archives of Ontario,
Library and Archives Canada and public and non public libraries across Canada.
With INFO you can:
- access the system from any Internet connection at home, work or local library
- search all the catalogues on the system or just the catalogues you choose
