How to do a search in INFO

You may search without logging in (placing ILL requests requires a login) in Simple or Advanced mode with Boolean operators. When you enter INFO you begin at the Welcome screen:

1. Select in the left panel to get the Library Catalogue Search page.
2. Select a collection of targets to search against from the Current Profile menu. 
   Note: You may want to start with the INFO Union Catalogue with the holdings of the majority of the public libraries in Ontario. However, any search profile can be used to search against.
   A Standard search is key word anywhere in the record. Enter keywords for your search. eg. blind assassin atwood

   Search for:



3. Start your search by clicking on Submit button. 
4. Browse your results. Click on Details button to see full bibliographic details and holdings.
