Libraries Suspended from Rota
Here is a list of INFO libraries currently suspended from being picked for a Rota. If that location is in the rota VDX will skip to the next location if they are suspended during the dates indicated for that site. UFN = Until Further Notice

Remember: If you will not be dealing with interlibrary loan on VDX for more than a few days please call or email the SOLS HelpDesk. We can suspend your location from being picked for a rota for this period. Requests will not sit unanswered in your responder's queue and you won't have the volume to deal with when you return.
Current Status of Target DatabasesA target can be searchable but still be problematic for DocFind. This table indicates what the current searching and DocFind status is and any reason it is down if we know of it. NB If a target is down it has implications for VDX performance. It is important that SOLS is informed of the status of your Z39.50 server. Please see this link for information on what SOLS needs to know. |

Terms used in the list
A "Target Not Available" for searching will not even be shown as a choice in your user profile. We would seldom change this for an otherwise active target. Searching an unresponsive target does not seem to lock up VDX. A "Not in rota" status means that DocFind will not use this target to add locations to a rota. This is different from suspending a location from a rota. We cannot stop DocFind from using INFO as a target so we suspend a location causing it to be stripped from the rota. But if an individual target is "Not in rota" DocFind does not even attempt to go to that site to find locations. When a target has been changed to "Not in rota" status you can still add them manually to a rota unless they have been specifically "suspended" from being added to a rota. |

servira pas ce cette cible pour ajouter des In Rotaisations à la liste de
In Rotaisations. Ceci est différent de l’action qui permet de suspendre
une In Rotaisation de la liste de In Rotaisations. Nous ne pouvons empêcher
DocFind d’utiliser INFO/RIO comme cible, alors nous arrêtons une
In Rotaisation, ce qui fait qu’elle est alors extraite de la liste des
In Rotaisations. Mais une cible individuelle est une cible « connectée à
distance » DocFind n’essaie même pas de se rendre à ce site pour
trouver des In Rotaisations. Lorsque l’état d’une cible a été modifié
pour indiquer « connectée à distance » vous pouvez toujours l’ajouter
manuellement à la liste de In Rotaisations sauf si elle a été
spécifiquement |
