SOLS Delivery Routes as of March 29, 2010 

Individual Routes: A  B  C  D  F  G  H  I  J  K  L  M (as of March 29, 2010)

How our routes work:

  • Routes are identified by an alpha designation (A thru M)
  • The routes start from 6 different locations (depots) throughout Ontario
    • North Grenville (S. Gower Br.)
    • Cobourg (Library)
    • Bradford
    • Kitchener (LSC)
    • Hamilton (Red Hill Br.)
    • London
  • The drivers meet at designated locations to exchange their material. The material moves across the province like this
    • Route A and B meet in North Grenville
    • Route B and C meet in Kingston or Napanee
    • Route C and D meet in Cobourg
    • Route D delivers material going west and picks up material going east at the Bradford depot
    • Route F and G meet at the Bradford depot
    • Route F delivers and picks up material at the Toronto shipping department
    • Routes H, J, K and L meet at the Kitchener depot
    • Route H delivers material going east and picks up material going west at the Bradford depot
    • Route L and M exchange material in London and Woodstock
    • Route I and J exchange material once a week in Hamilton
    • Route I delivers and picks up material twice a week at the Kitchener depot

Libraries that do not receive delivery via SOLS courier have access to the Canada Post Library Book Rate, and the postage costs for interlibrary loan are covered by SOLS.
