Delivery changes to routes D, E, F & H
effective Monday, February 25, 2008
Starting Monday, February 25, 2008, there will be some modifications made to the SOLS delivery routes D, E, F & H. These modifications came about because SOLS is no longer delivering to the Markham Public Library branches.
Below are the explanations of the changes by route and by library. Please read through this information to see if your library will be affected by a change in route designation, or time and day of delivery.
Changes by route

Route D
East Gwillimbury, Uxbridge and Whitchurch – Stouffville libraries will receive their delivery stop on route D & F and their route designation will be changed.
Route E
For the purpose of sorting material some libraries will be assigned to Route E but will actual receive their delivery on other routes. By assigning libraries to Route E, the drivers will be able to sort your material more efficiently to ensure you receive it as quickly as possible.
Vaughan will be moved to route F. Toronto and Markham route designation will remain route E. East Gwillimbury, Uxbridge and Whitchurch – Stouffville will be assigned route E.
Route F
The libraries currently receiving delivery on route F will not be affected by the changes. Libraries currently on route E will receive delivery on route F.
The route designation for Vaughan will be changed to route F.
East Gwillimbury, Uxbridge and Whitchurch – Stouffville libraries will receive a delivery stop on Tuesday.
Route H
On Wednesday, the SOLS driver will pick up the Markham ILL bin at the Bradford depot and exchange it with the ILL material at the Markham Village Branch.
Changes by library
East Gwillimbury – Holland Landing
- For sorting purposes your route designation will be route E and you will receive delivery stops on routes D & F.
- The route F driver will make a delivery stop on Tuesday to pick up your ILL material. The driver will arrive at your library around 7:30 a.m.
- The route D driver will make delivery stops on Wednesday and Thursday. These stops will remain at approximately the same time as you currently receive.
- The Inter-branch material for Mt. Albert will continue to be picked up on Wednesday and delivered on Thursday.
- You will continue to receive your LSC material on Wednesday.
Markham Public Library
- For sorting purposes your route designation will remain as route E and you will receive delivery stops on route F & H.
- The route F driver will make delivery stops on Tuesday and Friday. The driver will arrive at your library around 9:00 a.m.
- The route H driver will make delivery stop on Wednesday to deliver you ILL material and LSC material plus the driver will pick up your ILL material. This stop will remain at approximately the same time as you currently receive.
- You will continue to receive your LSC material on Wednesday.
Toronto Public Library
- For sorting purposes your route designation will be route E and you will receive delivery stops on route F.
- The route F driver will make a delivery stops on Tuesday and Friday to your Ellesmere location.
- We will need your driver to come on Thursdays to pick up only at the SOLS – Toronto office
- And on Friday to drop off only, depending on when your drivers receives the bin left on Friday at the SOLS – Toronto office.
Uxbridge Public Library
- For sorting purposes your route designation will be route E and you will receive delivery stops on routes D & F.
- The route F driver will make a delivery stop on Tuesday. The driver will arrive at your library around 8:15 a.m.
- On Tuesday, February 26, 2008, arrangements have been made for someone to meet our driver, Paul and give him a key and your access code.
- The route D driver will make a delivery stop on Thursday. This stop will remain at approximately the same time as you currently receive.
- You will continue to receive your LSC material on Thursday.
Whitchurch – Stouffville Public Library
- For sorting purposes your route designation will be route E and you will receive delivery stops on routes D & F.
- The route F driver will make a delivery stop on Tuesday. The driver will arrive at your library around 8:45 a.m.
- The route D driver will make a delivery stops on Thursday. This stop will remain at approximately the same time as you currently receive.
- You will continue to receive your LSC material on Thursday.
Vaughan Public Libraries
- Your route designation will be route F.
- The route F driver will make delivery stops on Tuesday around noon and Friday around 10:30 a.m.
