Support SOLS

SOLS relies on the Ministry to finance our core services to public libraries. However, SOLS is also a registered charity (business number 10779 8167 RR0001).

SOLS accepts cash or cheque donations. You can make a one-time gift, or pledge a gift through our monthly giving program. Please go to the SOLS donation form which is available here in .pdf format, print it, fill it out according to your wishes, and either fax it to 416-961-5122, or mail it to #1504 1 Yonge St. Toronto, ON M5E 1E5, to the attention of Karen Reid, Operations Director.

You can also make a donation right now through CanadaHelps.org (Français). Follow the instructions on CanadaHelps.org to make a one-time credit card or EFT donation, or set up a monthly pledge.

We adhere to the Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code and the Association of Professional Fundraisers’ Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice by employing a certified fundraising professional. We accept and appreciate donations in support of our programs.

Receipts are issued for all donations. We value and respect your privacy. We do not share our lists, and we hold your information secure. As a donor, your name may appear on our Website, in the Annual Report and other publications unless you choose to donate anonymously. On occasion you may also receive mailings from us. If you wish otherwise, please contact us through Karen Reid.

We are very grateful to our donors and the support that they provide.

SOLS also administers Club Amick, the fourth phase of the Lieutenant-Governor’s literacy initiative for young aboriginal readers in fly-in communities in northern Ontario. Donations may be made online or by using our donor forms.  For more information on this project, please contact Nancy Cooper.
