Staff Training

  • The SOLS Competencies Index has been compiled as a staff development tool for Ontario public libraries.
  • Networking & Meetings – Our Library Committee and Trustee Council meetings, as well as our listservs, foster the exchange of information among libraries.
  • Training Programs & Sessions – We offer a variety of training opportunities to help develop the basic library skills of staff and to support the continuing education of library staff. General information on our different programs can be found here, and programs and sessions currently open for registration will be listed on LearnHQ.
