Archambault - Setup & Access

Here are the steps you must follow to set up your Archambault access.  Please read carefully, as many of the steps are time sensitive.

  1. Login to the Archambault site - For those of you who provided library card and\or authentication information, Archambault has set up access on the site.
  • We have sent each library welcome email with a link to the French and English sites.
  • The site should work with all cards from your library, so be sure to test more than one.
  1. Testing:
  • Test all aspects of the site - browse, sign out books, place holds, etc.  There are good instructions on how to do this in the  "General Help" section of the web site.
  • Adobe Digital Editions testing - Archambault uses Adobe Digital Editions to manage access and security for all downloads.  You should test access for an account that already has an Adobe Digital Editions account set up, and one that does not.  The Archambault site has sections on how to create accounts and install Adobe Digital Editions in the "General Help" section.
  • Try multiple devices - Make sure you are comfortable downloading files to as many reading devices and platforms as possible (e.g. Android, iPhone and other iApple devices, Kobo and other e-book readers, etc.)
  • Download and test an ebook app -  Archambault recommends the Bluefire Reader, available for Android and iOS devices.

Administrative Access

In the welcome email, we also sent you the login and password for administrative access to statistics and reports.  The administrative access site is the SAME site your use to access the ebooks.  Simply navigate to the French or English site and choose your library name, then use the admin login and password provided in the welcome email.  If you have misplaced this, contact Beth Harding.
