Frequently Asked Questions - Vendors

How do I become a SOLS CPA vendor?

Interested?  Please fill out the Vendor Application Form.

The form will ask you for contact information, and product information.  It will ask you to agree to our terms and conditions, which are as follows:

  1. Vendors must offer discounted pricing that is better than the prices individual libraries have paid in the past.
  2. Pricing and billing must be in Canadian dollars with shipping and HST indicated separately
  3. Warranties and limits to warranties must be clearly stated.
  4. The laws of the Province of Ontario apply.
  5. Libraries will place orders directly with vendors and vendors will bill libraries directly.
  6. Products may not already be offered through programs of other organizations.  See Other Purchasing Options
  7. Vendors will provide annual statistics on sales as follows:
    1. List of libraries that participated in the CPA from April 1 to March 31 of any year. (Indicate which are Northern and which are Southern libraries if known)
    2. Total amount spent (individual library & all libraries together)
    3. Total discount (individual library & all libraries together)

If one of your products is chosen, it will be added to our website.  You will also be added to our vendor list, and will receive notice of tenders and Requests for Proposal should we ever need to issue any in your area of speciality.  Typically, should we need to RFP, we would issue a public posting on Biddingo.
